Olde Town Conyers will host a new holiday event, the Festive Night of Lights, on Saturday next week from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. The event will feature a drone light show and traditional holiday activities for families, according to the City of Conyers website.
Visitors can enjoy free trackless train rides for children, photos with Santa, and food from local vendors. Victorian-style carolers and the Heritage High School Chorus, directed by Terrance Green, will perform holiday music. The evening will conclude with the lighting of the town’s Christmas decorations and a 200-drone show presented by Open Sky Drone Light Shows.
The drone display, set to holiday music, will begin around 6:00 p.m. Recommended viewing areas include the Entertainment District of Olde Town Conyers, the Nancy Guinn Library parking lot, behind Whistle Post Tavern, The Book Cellar, and parking lots at 954 and 977 S. Main Street.
Following the Festive Night of Lights, the annual Conyers Christmas Parade will take place on December 6 at 2:00 p.m. The parade will feature local bands, dance groups, civic organizations, and Santa Claus.
