According to the Atlanta Police Department, the incident occurred on Friday, at around 3:25 p.m at 369 McDaniel St. SW. The confrontation then continued to 296 Northside Dr. SW where investigators found multiple shell casings.
Arriving officers located a male victim who, despite his injuries, was alert, conscious, and breathing. The early stages of the investigation suggest that a verbal dispute between two groups reached a violent climax with the discharge of firearms. The police have so far not released any information regarding potential suspects or arrests in connection to the the gunfire.
