A Port St. Lucie mother was arrested after allegedly hosting an underage drinking party at her home during a Halloween celebration. According to CBS12, police responded to the 11000 block of SW Fieldstone Way following complaints about a large gathering where minors were reportedly drinking. The Department of Children and Family Services (DCF) also joined the investigation.
Authorities identified the homeowner as 41-year-old Audrey Mahaney, who is accused of allowing her children to host the event without proper supervision. Officers found alcohol bottles scattered around the property. Mahaney was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
As reported by Hometown News TC, Mahaney was arrested and later released on a $150 bond. Police said they arrived before midnight after neighbors reported disturbances and observed multiple empty alcohol containers at the scene. The investigation remains ongoing.
