According to the City of Portland, a statement from the Portland Police Bureau (PPB), the crash was reported at 10:08 a.m. at the intersection of Southeast 11th Avenue and Southeast Clinton Street.
The prompt response by Portland Police officers found the scooter rider deceased upon their arrival. The PPB's Traffic Division Major Crash Team is taking the helm of the ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances of the fatal incident. During this time, Southeast 11th Avenue has been closed between Southeast Division Street and Southeast Clinton Street, causing disruptions in the area.
