
Rapper Rodarius Green, known as Rod Wave, was arrested last Friday night in Atlanta on multiple charges, including drug possession and carrying a weapon during a crime. He is being held at Fulton County Jail, according to WSB Radio.
Jail records show the charges include possession of a Schedule II controlled substance, possession of a Schedule V controlled substance, reckless driving, and possession of a firearm or knife during a crime. This is Green’s third arrest in Fulton County this year, following previous arrests in May and June, WSB Radio reports.
Rod Wave, 26, from Florida, is known for his soul-trap music style, blending R&B and rap. FOX 5 Atlanta reports he has eleven platinum singles and four of his six albums have topped Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, including his 2024 album Last Lap.
Earlier legal issues for Green included charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit a felony, with his attorneys stating he was the victim in a previous robbery, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.
