An Atlanta neighborhood is breathing easier after a brother and sister reported missing since Halloween night were found safe. The Atlanta Police Department confirmed that the 16-year-old girl and her 12-year-old brother returned home last Saturday evening unharmed.
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, the situation began when the siblings were seen getting into a car on Fern Brooks Drive SW around 9:45 p.m. on Friday last week, possibly heading to an unknown party. Police began investigating their disappearance shortly after midnight.
WSB-TV reported that the Atlanta Police Department issued a missing persons alert, which was later canceled after the children were located. Authorities have not released details about where the siblings were during the time they were missing, but both are reported to be in good health.
