Rockdale County will host its annual Veterans Parade on Saturday at 2 p.m., beginning at Rockdale County High School, traveling along Pine Log Road, and ending at Conyers First Methodist Church in Olde Town Conyers. The parade, which recognizes veterans from all branches of the military, is open to residents of all ages, according to a county press release.
Veterans are encouraged to participate in the annual Rockdale County Veterans Parade, either by marching or attending as guests. “This parade is our opportunity as a community to express our gratitude to those who have sacrificed so much in service to our nation,” said Board of Commissioners Chairwoman JaNice Van Ness in a press release.
