Saint Louis County, in partnership with The Salvation Army, has opened a Winter Warming Emergency Shelter to support residents during the cold season. The shelter, which opened on Monday last week, can accommodate up to 32 individuals at a time and will operate until March 6, 2026, as per the Saint Louis County website.
The shelter provides 24-hour staff support, three hot meals daily, laundry facilities, case management, personal hygiene services, showers, and telephone access. Daytime services are also available at the Loaves and Fishes Resource Center on weekdays, including emergency shelter referrals and meals.
The shelter is located at 10740 Page Ave., St. Louis, MO. Residents seeking assistance can call 211 for guidance, and walk-in services are available at Loaves and Fishes during the day.
