The interaction, which the department described as consensual, revealed that the individual was sought on a warrant with bail set at $15,000, the officers executing their duties discovered this fact during their regular patrol, meant to foster a sense of security and accessibility for those who frequent the downtown core. The person in question was apprehended without incident and was subsequently transported to the county jail.
