
The New Hampshire Department of Corrections is searching for an inmate who escaped from a transitional housing unit in Manchester. According to New Hampshire Department of Corrections report, 27-year-old Anfernee Jay King fled from the Calumet House Transitional Housing Unit last evening.
At around 8:11 p.m., King returned from work when an officer confronted him over suspected intoxication. Before a breathalyzer test could be administered, King ran away. He was last seen wearing a white hooded jacket with a red sweatshirt underneath, gray sweatpants, and white and gray sneakers.
King is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 225 pounds, with blue eyes, brown hair, and facial hair. He has several tattoos, including a skull with roses on his left thigh and an image of a woman eating a banana on his shin.
He was serving a sentence for Criminal Threatening – Conduct Involving a Firearm, with a minimum custody release date of March 12, 2026, and a maximum date of January 8, 2037.
