The community is on alert as the California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert on behalf of the South San Francisco Police Department for David Borg, a 64-year-old man who has been missing since Sunday. Borg, considered at-risk due to paranoid schizophrenia requiring daily medication, was last seen at his care home in South San Francisco around 2 PM, according to the South San Francisco Police Department.
Authorities have described Borg as a white male, 64 years old, 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a black and purple North Face jacket, blue jeans, and black boots.
The SSFPD is urging anyone with information to come forward and, if located, to contact them at 650-877-8900 or dial 911.
