The search for Pilkington has been ongoing since the suspect evaded capture following the incident, which occurred during a routine traffic stop last week; Pilkington's irresponsible actions resulted not only in his escape but also harm to Dagger, the K-9 officer, a partnership between the departments has been instrumental with Sheriff Beasley and his team dedicating resources and time to the search.
