
The St. Bernard Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced it is currently investigating a series of vehicle vandalism cases that have plagued the Lexington Place Subdivision in Meraux. According to a social media post from the St. Bernard Parish Sheriff's Office, residents have reported multiple instances of keying and other damage to cars parked in the neighborhood.
Sheriff James Pohlmann stated, "We take these incidents seriously," highlighting the commitment of the deputies to not only find but also to hold accountable the individuals responsible for these acts. Detectives are working on gathering evidence and are in the process to actively identifying suspects.
The Parish Sheriff’s Office has called upon the community for cooperation. They are urging victims of the spree and anyone who might possess surveillance footage or information to step forward. The residents' assistance could prove critical in the resolution of these cases and in preventing further occurrences of such property crimes.
