A St. Helens man, Cameron L. Hindman, 26, was arrested last Friday in Scappoose, Oregon, facing charges of sodomy and sexual abuse. The Portland Police Bureau released his photo as they seek information on potential additional victims, according to the City of Portland.
Hindman is accused of assaulting two women he met through online dating platforms earlier this year, using physical force during sexual activities at a residence on the 4700 block of Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard. Authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation, as reported by the City of Portland.
The Portland Police Bureau is investigating assaults reported in January 2025 and has released a photo of Hindman, as stated by the City of Portland. Both victims needed medical attention. Anyone with information or who was also victimized should contact Detectives Jeff Myers or Oise Okunseinde at the PPB Sex Crimes Unit.
