
Following a fatal stabbing in Mattapan, Boston Police have recently taken into custody Javonte Robinson, 29, of Mattapan, wanted on a murder warrant. His arrest was made by officers assigned to the Boston Police Fugitive Unit near 247 Neponset Valley Parkway, Hyde Park. Robinson was identified as the suspect in connection with the incident on Fremont Street, according to the Boston Police Department.
The initial crime occurred around 7:20 p.m. last Saturday when police responded to a call regarding a person stabbed at 30 Fremont Street. Upon their arrival, an adult male victim was found with a stab wound, and despite being transported to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead there. The identity of the victim has yet to be released pending notification of next of kin.
This case is under active investigation by the Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit, and they are urging anyone with information about the incident to reach out.
