A teenage girl is recovering after being shot in north Phoenix. The incident happened Tuesday morning around 8:15 a.m. near 14th Street and Bell Road, according to FOX 10 Phoenix. Police found the victim and took her to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Arizona’s Family reported that the shooting appeared to occur at the Saratoga Ridge Apartments. A suspect was detained in the immediate area. Police cordoned off the scene, where several officers and patrol vehicles were present.
Authorities have not released details about what led to the shooting or the suspect’s identity. The investigation is ongoing.
