Early yesterday morning, Harford County became the site of a sudden blaze as a shed caught fire and the flames reached a nearby home. The Joppa Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company, along with other departments, was dispatched to the 400 block of Hardin Drive in Joppatowne after receiving a call about the incident shortly after 3 a.m. According to Fox Baltimore, firefighters arrived to discover the shed in flames, with the fire beginning to encroach on the adjacent residence.
The responding teams managed to quickly subdue the fire, preventing it from causing more than minor damage to the house. The fire was quickly brought under control with only minor extension into the house, according to a statement from fire officials.
Fortunately, the incident did not result in any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal, as noted by NottinghamMD.
