A 22-year-old man was shot at a Clarksville apartment complex on Thanksgiving night, leading to a police investigation. The shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. on Heritage Park, according to report from WKRN.
As per FOX 17, the officers who arrived at 867 Heritage Pointe Circle located the man suffering from a gunshot wound and performed CPR, and despite the severity of the situation, they continued their efforts until emergency medical services arrived and then the victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare, and at this time, his condition remains undisclosed to the public.
A person of interest has been detained in connection with the shooting, and detectives are continuing their investigation. Authorities stated that the incident appears to be isolated. The Clarksville Police Department is asking anyone with information to call 911 to assist with the investigation.
