Following a joint narcotics investigation by the Louisiana State Police Monroe Field Office Narcotics, the Madison Parish Sheriff’s Office (MPSO), and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), an operation in Madison Parish has led to the arrest of three individuals and the confiscation of various illegal substances and a firearm. This sweep aimed at curtailing drug trafficking operations in the area, according to the Louisiana State Police.
The trio was apprehended on Wednesday, when authorities executed a search warrant, obtained from the 6th Judicial District Court, for a residence in Tallulah, during which methamphetamine, Xanax, marijuana, alongside a firearm were seized, indicating the persistent drug trade plaguing communities.
As detailed by the Louisiana State Police, those taken into custody include 38-year-old Troy Alexander, who now faces multiple charges, including but not limited to possession with intent to distribute drugs and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Also among the arrested are 35-year-old Britany Larry, for attempt and conspiracy alongside obstruction of justice, and 28-year-old Jarred McClodden, charged with possession with intent to distribute and criminal conspiracy.
The Louisiana State Police, in coordination with federal and local partners, continues operations aimed at addressing illegal drug activity across the state.
