A shooting in Carrollton early Sunday morning left one woman dead and two others injured after a fight. According to FOX 5 Atlanta, officers responded to 6th Street around 1:30 a.m., where 26-year-old Lareon Brown was found dead at the scene. Another victim was taken to an Atlanta-area hospital, while a third went for treatment by private vehicle.
The Carrollton Police Department initially had limited information about what led to the altercation, and no suspects were identified at the time.
Atlanta News First later reported that three suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting. Police identified them as 23-year-old Cyntez Worthy of Villa Rica, 31-year-old Jamine Hutchinson of Villa Rica, and 26-year-old Zontavius Vaughn of Carrollton.
All three face charges of felony murder, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
