Motorists on U.S. Route 169, the Belt Highway, will encounter lane restrictions. Vance Brothers, Inc., in coordination with the Department of Transportation, will conduct road patching from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. The work was originally scheduled last Wednesday but was rescheduled today.

The road work will begin at the north end of U.S. Route 169 near the Interstate 29 interchange and continue south to Easton Road. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, which may cause delays. Motorists can monitor conditions and updates on MoDOT’s website.

MoDOT is advising drivers to follow safety measures while traveling through the work zone, including staying alert, wearing seat belts, yielding in work areas, and reducing speed as needed. Additional updates and roadway information are available by signing up for MoDOT’s eUpdates.

MoDOT also provides updates by phone at 888-ASK-MODOT (275-6636) and on social media. Drivers are encouraged to check the Traveler Information Map and sign up for eUpdates to stay informed while traveling through work zones.
