Multnomah County law enforcement officials arrested two men following a raid on a Gresham home that produced a large quantity of firearms, drugs, and body armor, officials said Wednesday. The Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), working with the East Metro SWAT Team, MCSO Logistics Evidence Unit, and MCSO detectives, executed a court-authorized search warrant on Tuesday, according to Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.

The operation, prompted by community complaints, targeted a residence in the 2500 block of Northwest 4th Street. Authorities seized six rifles, a bulletproof vest, and quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine, along with drug manufacturing paraphernalia. MCSO Sheriff Nicole Morrisey O’Donnell said the operation reflects the agency’s efforts to remove illegally possessed firearms and drugs from the community.

The two individuals arrested were identified as 49-year-old Tai Nguyen and 76-year-old Craig Larson. Nguyen faces charges of unlawful manufacture, distribution, and possession of cocaine. Larson faces similar cocaine-related charges, as well as unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Both men were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center (MCDC), and additional charges may be considered as the investigation continues.
