Cincinnati Police have taken two men into custody in relation to a daytime shooting in Avondale that tragically cut short the life of 27-year-old Quinton Nathanial Shouse. The suspects, identified as 34-year-old Isaiah Harper and 31-year-old Tajuan Zanders, were arrested following the incident that occurred on October 6, as per information from police detailed by FOX19.
It was just after noon when calls to police reported a shooting on the 800 block of Ridgeway Avenue. Responding officers discovered a gravely injured Shouse with a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts made by Cincinnati Fire and EMS personnel to quickly administer life-saving measures, Shouse was pronounced dead after being taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Hamilton County Detention Center records, as noted by Cincinnati.com, show that Harper was jailed last Monday, facing charges including drug offenses and murder. His set bond totals an imposing $1.9 million, but a ten percent payment of $190,000 is enough to secure his release under the condition of mandatory ankle monitoring.
