
Violence erupted in north Phoenix this past Saturday, as two men found themselves critically wounded in a shooting incident. The event, which occurred just after the witching hour of 8:30 p.m., saw first responders hastily converge upon the vicinity of Bell Road and Holmes Boulevard, a stone's throw westward from Interstate 17. As reported by azfamily.com, the men sustained serious injuries from the gunfire but are expected to survive the ordeal.
These early moments in the aftermath saw officers scramble to fully to grasp the chaos, tuning out the sirens' wail to find the two men, grasped tightly by the cold hand of trauma. According to ABC15, police flooded the scene, discovering at least one gunshot wound on each of the men before they were briskly shuttled to the hospital.
Police closed the road where the shooting happened to investigate. Detectives searched for evidence as they tried to piece together what led to the violence. Witnesses have shared what they saw, but the suspect is still on the loose. Authorities are asking anyone with information to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO for Spanish speakers. No arrests have been made so far, as per ABC15.
