Atlanta has been met with an alarming incident of gun violence after two women were injured in a shooting related to a parking dispute, as reported by the Atlanta Police Department. The event occurred last Saturday around 11:14 pm, at 140 John Wesley Dobbs NE, and seems to have risen from a discord about a vehicle parked in a tow-away zone.
The preliminary details provided by the Atlanta Police Department sketch a chaotic scene where the male tow truck driver, who was in the company of the female victims, became entangled in a dispute when the suspect returned from a nearby restaurant to find his vehicle about to be towed. Both victims were working security at the location, and amidst the confrontation, gunfire erupted.
The two women suffered gunshot wounds and were promptly sent to the hospital, where they remain alert, while the tow truck driver escaped the incident unscathed. The suspect has fled, and as of now the investigation presses forward, digging through the layers of the night’s perilous turn.
