Recognized for his 22 years of dedicated service, Reding Quiñones's roots run deep in the city, as he is a native and the progeny of a Cuban political refugee, his journey embodies the values of perseverance and civic duty that are woven into the fabric of Miami's vibrant community. His career reflects a long-standing dedication to public service, with experience as a national security official, prosecutor, military officer, and trial judge. Now serving as the chief federal law enforcement officer for the Southern District of Florida, Reding Quiñones leads one of the nation’s busiest U.S. Attorney’s Offices.

In his role as the United States Attorney, Reding Quiñones has his hands full with oversight of several offices, including those in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Fort Pierce. His journey to this position was marked by a presidential appointment, followed by Senate confirmation; prior to which, he had presided over civil and criminal domestic violence cases as a state court trial judge in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.
