
A somber air surrounds Union City today following a violent outburst at the Volume Lounge on Railroad Street. According to a social media post from the Union City Police Department, multiple individuals were found suffering from gunshot wounds after officers and Obion County Sheriff's Deputies responded to reports of gunfire yesterday.
The incident, which took place around 12:34 AM at the well-known local spot, saw emergency services quickly on the scene to transport the victims to the Union City Baptist Memorial Hospital, however tragically, 23-year-old Omariyon Harper was pronounced dead upon arrival due to gunshot injuries the investigation is ongoing as a person of interest has been identified efforts are underway to locate and interview them concerning the shooting.
