Local residents looking to chip in on the planned improvements for County Highway 13, also known as Ideal Ave, have their chance. Washington County, in collaboration with the City of Lake Elmo and the City of Oakdale, has set the wheels in motion for a series of enhancements ranging from County Highway 6 (Stillwater Blvd) to County Highway 14 (34th St N).
An in-person open house unfolded to present the proposed designs, along with an opportunity to hear public opinions on them. But for those who missed it, an online platform is now up and running to review the material presented at the open house. The open house was an avenue for community members to learn about the project, discuss alternatives, and understand the anticipated schedule.
The virtual engagement, serving as no stage for formal presentations or discussions, will be available from November 19 through December 10. Participants can access the online material by visiting the Washington County website. The site is extending an electronic arm to those unable to attend in person and still wish to have their perspectives considered in the upcoming project.
