
Last Tuesday, Webster Police announced a major drug seizure following a joint-agency raid at a local residence, concluding months of investigation. The search warrant targeted 29-year-old Tre Paniss, suspected of distributing cocaine and crack cocaine across South Worcester County and northern Rhode Island, as reported by the Webster Police Department.
The raid began at 8:20 a.m. and involved the Webster Police Special Services Unit and K9 Unit, along with officers from the Blackstone Valley Drug Task Force and Drug Enforcement Administration agents. Authorities said the coordinated investigation aimed to address Paniss’ alleged drug distribution activities in the area, as stated by the Webster Police Department.
According to the Webster Police Department on their Facebook page, officers executed a search warrant at 22 Myrtle Ave, Apartment 1L, and found about 24 grams of crack cocaine, 11 grams of powdered cocaine, and drug packaging materials. Mr. Paniss was arrested and faces charges of trafficking 18 to 36 grams of cocaine and possession with intent to distribute a Class B controlled substance. The case will proceed through the legal system.
