On Friday morning in South Phoenix, a woman was hospitalized after being shot at an apartment complex near Central Avenue and Baseline Road around 1:20 a.m. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was quickly taken to a local hospital, according to FOX 10 Phoenix and 12News.
"The adult male suspect fled the area, but was apprehended in a neighboring city," Sgt. Rob Scherer of the Phoenix Police Department said, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix. He is expected to be booked on charges related to the shooting once evidence has been processed.
