Moochhala will take the reins at the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, collaborating closely with organizations like the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, MassVentures, and the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center. Her responsibilities also extend to managing the state's interactions in tourism and international trade, pivotal components to Massachusetts's economic outreach and vitality.
Moochhala's venture into state government comes after a laudable career, one where she not only co-founded the world's largest online caregiver marketplace but also shepherded Sittercity post-acquisition and contributed to Bright Horizons' marketing success.
