A 79-year-old Acton woman is in the hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a sedan while crossing the street in Littleton on Wednesday night. The incident occurred at the intersection of King and Goldsmith Streets just after 7 p.m., as confirmed by Littleton Police Chief Matthew Pinard, 7NEWS reports.
The driver, identified as a local food delivery driver, remained on the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
