A fire that erupted in an Abington, Massachusetts home has displaced five individuals and resulted in the tragic loss of three pets. As reported by NBC Boston, the blaze occurred yesterday afternoon at a multi-family residence located at 26 Winthrop St.
According to the fire officials, aid was summoned to the site around 2:30 p.m., and responders were met with a rapidly spreading fire. They waged a stout defense against the aggressive flames, which claimed the lives of two dogs, and a cat. Aside from this loss, no human injuries were reported.
