Acworth's budding law enforcement talent shone at the Cobb Cadet Challenge held at the Cobb County Safety Village, where local Public Safety Cadets made a commendable haul of six individual trophies. According to the official city website, the Acworth team demonstrated their skill and teamwork in various simulated law enforcement scenarios.
Competing against their peers, Acworth fielded two teams that put their training into action. Team 1 outpaced the competition, securing top honors in "Suspicious Person," "Domestic Dispute," and "Unknown Trouble" categories, alongside a respectable third place finish overall. Not to be outdone, Team 2 clinched second place in the "Suspicious Person" category, rounding out a strong performance with a second-place overall finish at the event.
The City of Acworth praised the cadets’ strong showing at the Cobb Cadet Challenge, highlighting their “hard work, teamwork, and professionalism throughout the day.”
