The Adrian Police Department is actively seeking a suspect following a robbery at an Advance America cash advance location earlier this month. According to surveillance footage, the incident occurred at 2 p.m. on Dec. 5 at 1422 S Main Street in Adrian. ClickOnDetroit reports that the man brandished a black pistol and demanded cash from the establishment's employees and safe, with the alarming statement, "My kids need this."
Reportedly, the suspect made off with approximately $5,000 in cash and was last seen fleeing on foot eastward along the building's exterior. Described as a white male standing around 5'5" to 5'6" tall, his escape was swift; taking only about six minutes for the whole operation. The Adrian Police, as WLNS states, attempted to track him with a K-9 unit but to no avail.
