
Arizona's business landscape is set to receive a digital upgrade with the announcement that the Arizona Corporation Commission is launching a new online platform called Arizona Business Connect. According to a press release from AZCC, this system is designed to replace the current eCorp portal and will go live on January 12, 2026, promising a slew of modern features including improved customer experience and enhanced security.
The transition will require a period of downtime for eCorp, with the current online services becoming inaccessible starting January 2, 2026, after 5:00 p.m. MST. During the shutdown, corporations and customers will be unable to file documents or search businesses online however they will retain the option to submit paperwork in person at AZCC offices or by mailing or faxing their filings, "All paper documents received after January 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. will receive an effective date of the date it was received," as per the Commission's statement.
This digital transition is a part of the state's effort to modernize its services and support the business community more efficiently. The announcement detailed that while the eCorp system is turned off data will be meticulously transferred to ensure a seamless move to the Arizona Business Connect platform and subsequently verified for accuracy before its official inauguration.
