
Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are requesting the public's help to identify three individuals involved in an armed robbery in the Roxbury neighborhood. According to the police official report, the incident, which was armed and menacing, took place at approximately 4:40 PM last Friday at a location on 80 Marcella Street.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the trio marched into the establishment, and one of the individuals flashed a knife. The other two suspects hurried behind the counter, where they filched various smoking paraphernalia and vaporizing devices, before escaping on foot along Marcella Street in the direction of Centre Street. It is believed that they might frequent the Heath Street area.
Investigators are sifting through the details of the crime in search of leads. The Boston Police has made an appeal to anyone who might be able to confer information to reach their District B-2 Detectives at 617-343-4275. Additionally, information can be conveyed anonymously via the CrimeStoppers Tip Line by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting "TIP" to CRIME (27463), or by submitting a tip online through the Boston Police CrimeStoppers website.
Descriptions of the suspects have been provided. Suspect 1 is described as a medium complexion male, adorned in a black hooded sweatshirt, with a grey backpack, black sweatpants possessing identifiable logos on the back, and black and grey sneakers, his face obscured by a sheisty mask. Suspect 2 also sports medium complexion, garbed in a black jacket and Nike sweatpants branded with a white swoosh on the left leg, a sheisty mask and companioned by grey and black sneakers. The third suspect, a male, is noted for wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt under a black jacket, a blue medical mask, black sweatpants, and grey with black sneakers.
For purposes of the ongoing investigation, contributions can also include photos and videos related to the incident, and the identities of informants will be protected with due diligence.
