Tipton County Sheriff's Office confirmed an investigation is underway following a deadly home invasion on John Hill Road, near Fayne Road in Brighton. The law enforcement's response was prompted by a call made around 11:30 p.m. Monday, reporting a possible homicide after suspects reportedly forced entry into a home. According to Action News 5, Sheriff Shannon Beasley stated that the suspect or suspects had fled the scene in a vehicle that was waiting down the road.
As the investigation continues, the identity of the victim has not been released, and detectives are currently gathering more details about the incident.
