The Brookline Police Department has taken to social media in a bid to capture a suspect involved in a costly break-in at a local jewelry store. The crime, which took place back in April 2025, resulted in a loss of over $37,000 worth of jewelry. In a recent post on their official Facebook page, Brookline detectives are now seeking the public's help to identify the owner of a vehicle potentially connected with the incident.
The vehicle in question is a red Jeep Cherokee with distinctive decals—one on the top left of the front windshield and another on the top right corner of the rear window. The owner, suspected of breaking and entering, is described as a white male standing between 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall. The year or registration of the Jeep remains unknown, much like the face of the man who, caught by a stroke of streetlight, committed the heist.
