Hey Cambridge parents, it's time to lace up those sneakers because registration for the annual Shoot Straight Youth Winter Basketball League is officially underway. If your kiddo is in grades 3 through 6 and ready to dribble and shoot their way through a fun-filled winter, here's your chance. The league, which is a collaborative effort between Cambridge Recreation and Shoot Straight, Inc., is all about teaching the fundamentals of the game along with a healthy dose of team spirit and sportsmanship.
The 10-week program runs from January 10 to March 14, 2026. Games and practices will be held at the War Memorial Recreation Center and the CRLS Al Coccoluto Gym. Registration costs $50 per child.
To register, complete the PDF form and submit it with the $50 fee to the Department of Human Service Programs, addressed to George Rodriguez at Cambridge Recreation. Forms are due by December 30.
