There will be a large police presence at Choctaw High School this afternoon beginning around 1:30 PM. Our officers will be conducting scheduled active shooter training and will remain on site until approximately 4:00 PM, according to the Choctaw Police Department's Facebook post.
This is only a training exercise. There is no threat to the school or the public, as reported by the Choctaw Police Department.
