The Chula Vista Police Department has issued a call for assistance in locating an at-risk 79-year-old man, Remigio Suguitan, who has been missing since yesterday. Suguitan, who has dementia, was last seen leaving his residence in the 600 block of Vista Way around 2:30 p.m. and was later spotted walking eastbound on E J Street near Halecrest Elementary School.

According to the social media post by the Chula Vista Police Department, Suguitan is described as being 5’3”, weighing 150 lbs, with a light complexion, brown hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray/black checkered shirt, black pants, and a black fedora hat. The authorities have emphasized that he does not have a phone, has not been in contact with family, and requires daily medication, further increasing concern for his well-being.

As the search continues, the Chula Vista Police are reaching out to the community for any leads. "If you see Remigio or have any information about his whereabouts, please call 619-691-5151 immediately," the Chula Vista Police Department urged the public.
