The winning $30 ticket was purchased at the Meijer store located on State Routes 22 and 23 in Loveland. The Holiday Millions game offers players a choice between an annuity—$80,000 a year for 25 years—or a $1 million lump-sum cash option. The winner opted for the immediate payout, a decision confirmed by the Ohio Lottery.
After federal and state taxes totaling 27.125 percent are withheld, the winner will take home $728,750, lottery officials said. The Ohio Lottery said one top prize in the Holiday Millions game remains unclaimed, leaving hope for other players still trying their luck.
