According to a report by WCPO, Good Plates' Christmas Eve event, dubbed the Giving Project, will start at 11 a.m., welcoming families to not only enjoy a holiday feast but also collect toys, coats, and other necessary items like hygiene products and books. Diamond Travis, the human resources manager at Confessions, detailed the scene of their event, describing a queue stretching out the door as the restaurant provided 150 hot meals and handed out 100 toys. Travis cited the area's gentrification as an impetus for the initiative, underscoring the importance of not forgetting those in need during the redevelopment process.
