The City of Alcoa is seeking consulting firms to evaluate and improve city-owned facilities. The city has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for qualified professionals to develop a comprehensive Master Plan assessing the condition of city facilities and infrastructure.
According to the City of Alcoa, Consulting firms must submit proposals to the City of Alcoa Purchasing Manager by 2:00 p.m. on January 29, 2026. Firms are responsible for all costs associated with preparing their proposals; the city will not cover these expenses.
The City of Alcoa has discretion in evaluating and negotiating proposals and may consider deviations from the initial specifications if beneficial. Firms should not assume a contract will be awarded based on submission alone. The City may perform some work itself and plans to create a pool of pre-qualified firms for future projects.
Firms should note that the City may waive formalities and reject any or all proposals. Selection will be based on what City officials determine is the best proposal for the City of Alcoa. This process complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, ensuring equal opportunity for all participants in federally assisted programs.
