The courthouse addition boasts an impressive 29,000 square feet of new space, including, not limited to, five state-of-the-art courtrooms and separate offices for the Juvenile Clerk, Juvenile Probation Department, Prosecutor, and Public Defender - it represents a structural commitment to addressing the needs of troubled youth in a manner that acknowledges their potential for rehabilitation and their unique requirements.
Following the formal dedication, Judge James A. Shriver will play host to a reception where attendees will be treated to light refreshments, providing an opportunity for the public to engage with court officials and take in the new surroundings.
