The Coppell Police Department in Texas recently announced that its Records Office will be taking a brief hiatus during the Christmas holidays. In a social media post, the department stated that the office would be closed on December 25th and 26th, while reassuring residents that officers will still be patrolling the streets and "available to serve you."
Reflecting a touch of holiday cheer, the Coppell Police addressed the closure with a light note, "We're taking a break to open some presents!" Despite the levity, essential services will remain uninterrupted, which means while the records get a rest, public safety does not go on holiday. Additionally, the City of Coppell's administrative offices and many other city facilities will share in the festive shutdown during those same dates.
For those needing to plan around these closures, The CORE, a local community recreation center, will modify its hours and close early, and the city has conveniently listed the full holiday schedule, which includes the trash pickup timetable, for anyone with concerns about municipal services during the festive period, all of which can be found at bit.ly/Coppell_Holiday_Hours25.
