Residents of Dedham awoke to unsettling news as local law enforcement reported multiple vehicle break-in attempts during the early hours. According to a social media post from the Dedham Police Department, a local resident's surveillance system sent an alert, which upon checking, revealed two individuals trying to enter a vehicle parked in the driveway. This initial incident sparked a larger investigation as police then found evidence suggesting several other vehicles in the area may have also been tampered with.
Dedham, Massachusetts, police, with assistance from the State Police and Boston Police, responded to the area where suspicious activity was captured on video. Officer Twomey spotted a suspect near East St. and Brookdale Ave. The individual tried to evade officers but was detained. A second suspect fled the scene.
