Eligible residents of Doral could see up to $3,000 in assistance to manage essential expenses such as housing, utilities, and emergency childcare, with funds aimed to uphold the livelihoods of community members.
Starting from yesterday, December 1, the EHG4F opens its doors to applications in the first ten days of each month as long as the financial reservoir endures. Mayor Christi Fraga spoke to the City's determination, noting, "Life can change in an instant, and even the most hardworking families sometimes need a helping hand. The EHG4F program allows us to provide that support with dignity and care, ensuring that no family in Doral faces hardship alone," in a statement obtained by the City of Doral's newsroom.
To be considered for aid, households must have been put down roots in Doral for at least a year, satisfy income confines set by the municipality, and substantiate their financial emergency through documentation. Relief is limited to one grant per household in a 12-month period. Grant recipients will be chosen post-application cycle to support an equitable distribution process.
