Yesterday, agents from the 29th District in Dyersburg executed a search warrant on the 400 block of E. Parkview as part of an ongoing investigation. A Facebook post from the West Tennessee Drug Task Force stated that the operation resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and cash.
The search led to the seizure of more than 1/4 ounce (9.5 g) of fentanyl, 7 Suboxone pills, 1.5 Xanax pills, and over $300 in alleged illegal proceeds. The operation resulted in the arrest of a man who was already on federal supervised release. The 29th Judicial District Attorney’s Office, led by Danny Goodman Jr., will proceed with prosecution.
The identity of the arrested individual has not been released. Task Force Director Johnie Carter stated that the agency is committed to safeguarding communities from illegal narcotics and their distribution. The West Tennessee Drug Task Force continues its operations, including the recent action on E. Parkview.
